An upgrade from Free to Classic or Premium takes effect immediately. The price difference is calculated pro rata — Stripe shows you the exact amount during the ordering process. You cannot downgrade directly to a lower plan; you must cancel the existing contract and select a new plan once it has expired.

Yes. ResMenu's servers and databases are located in Frankfurt, Germany, and operated in accordance with GDPR standards. All guest data is encrypted in transit. For restaurants within the EU, no data is transferred to third countries.

Your data remains available for as long as your ResEcho account exists. When a subscription ends, you can upgrade again later and continue with all your existing dishes, languages and settings. No data loss and no need to start over.

German businesses with a valid VAT identification number are invoiced without Austrian VAT — the reverse-charge procedure applies automatically. All prices on the website are net amounts.

Yes. Your social-media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube) and your website are prominently linked from the menu. Guests can follow you on Instagram or visit your website directly from the menu — without scanning the QR code again.

Yes, ResMenu supports 23 languages, including Arabic and Persian with the correct writing direction. In Classic and Premium, AI suggests natural translations for product names and descriptions as well as category and menu names. You can review and edit every suggestion before saving it.

Your QR code is generated automatically in the dashboard as soon as you create your menu. You can download it as a PNG or PDF, print it and place it on your tables. The code stays the same even if you change your menu later.
